Lessons are booked and pre-paid in half termly blocks of 5 - 7 lessons, depending on the length of the half term - see term dates below.

Sibling discount for consecutive lessons in the same location.

About

About Me

My name is Alison Judson and I have been a primary school teacher since 1997, mostly in local Horsham schools. Throughout my career, I have taught in years 2-6 and I have an in-depth knowledge of the primary curriculum. I have worked with children with a variety of SEN, particularly dyslexia and ASC. I love teaching children on a 1:1 basis so that I can really tune in to their individual learning style and needs. I ensure that lessons are practical and fun, using a multi-sensory approach.

I have an enhanced DBS, regular safeguarding training and I am fully insured.

Alison worked with my son for a few months leading up to the year 6 SATS. Originally, I asked Alison to help with SPAG, but after getting to know her, we asked her to help with reading and maths, too. He often asked her to explain concepts he was struggling to understand at school and she would go through them with him in the lessons. Alison knew the school curriculum well and helped him get used to the format of the tests.
